٠اÙÙÙ ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا سعد ب٠عبد اÙÙÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø٠د ب٠عÙس٠ع٠عÙ٠ب٠سÙÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø®Ù٠اÙØسÙ٠ب٠سÙÙ Ø Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù٠سÙ٠ب٠ع٠Ùرة اÙÙخع٠ع٠خÙØ«Ù Ø©Ø ÙاÙ: سأÙت أبا عبد اÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠ع٠ÙÙ٠اÙÙ٠عز Ùج٠(Ù٠شئ ÙاÙ٠إÙا ÙجÙÙ) ÙاÙ: دÙÙÙØ ÙÙا٠رسÙ٠اÙÙ٠صÙ٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ ÙØ¢ÙÙ ÙسÙ٠دÙ٠اÙÙÙØ ÙÙجÙÙ ÙعÙÙÙ Ù٠عبادÙØ ÙÙساÙ٠اÙØ°Ù ÙÙط٠بÙØ ÙÙد٠عÙÙ Ø®ÙÙÙØ ÙÙØÙ Ùج٠اÙÙ٠اÙØ°Ù Ùؤت٠٠ÙÙØ ÙÙ Ùزا٠Ù٠عباد٠٠ا اÙرÙÙØ©Ø ÙاÙ: اÙØاجة Ùإذا ÙÙ Øاجة رÙعÙا Ø¥ÙÙÙ ÙصÙع Ù 7.
My father, may Allah have mercy on him, that Sa`d ibn `Ad Allah, on the authority of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn `Isa on the authority of `Ali ibn Sayf on the authority of his brother alHasan ibn Sayf on the authority of his father Sayf ibn `Amirah al-Nakha`i on the authority of Khaythamah that I asked Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS) about the Word of Allah, the Mighty and High: Everything is perishable but He. He (AS) resplied: It is His Religion.
The Messenger of Allah (sw) and the Commander of the Faithful (AS) are the Religion of Allah amongst His Servants, His Face, His Eyes, His tongue with which He speaks and the Hand with which He covers His Creation. We are the Face with which He bestows (His Blessings). We will remain in His Servants as long as Allah has any consideration [rawiyyah] for them. I enquired, âWhat is consideration [rawiyyah]? He (AS) explained, âNeed [alhajah].
When Allah has no need for them He removes us from them, and does as He pleases.â
