Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Mutawakkil (RA) said: `Ali ibn Ibrahim said, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abu `Umayr, on the authority of `Umar ibn Udhaynah, on the authority of Abu Ja`far al-Asamm that I asked Abu Ja`far al-Baqir (AS) about the spirits that were in Adam (AS) and `Isa (AS). He (AS) replied, âThey were two created spirits. Allah chose and selected them as the spirit of Adam and the spirit of `Isa (as).
