My father (RA) said; `Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim said, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abu `Umayr, on the authority of Hisham ibn al-Hakam that Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS) was asked to interpret the Word of Allah, the Mighty and High: And pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it. What does He mean by this?
He (AS) replied, âHe means that whoever has a healthy body, a route free from trouble, proper provision, and a mode of transportation.
