Chapter: Preserving the secret of the Prophetâs Family 7 - ÙØ¨Ùذا Ø§ÙØ¥Ø³ÙØ§Ø¯Ø Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØØ³Ù Ø¨Ù Ø¹Ù٠ب٠أب٠ØÙ Ø²Ø©Ø Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØØ³Ù Ø¨Ù Ø§ÙØ³Ø±Ù ÙØ§Ù: ÙØ§Ù أب٠عبد اÙÙÙ: Ø¥ÙÙÙ ÙØ£ÙØØ¯ÙØ« Ø§ÙØ±Ø¬ÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØØ¯ÙØ«Ù ÙÙÙØ·ÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙØØ¯ÙØ«Ù ب٠عÙÙÙ Ù٠عÙÙÙ ÙØ£ÙØ³ØªÙØÙÙ٠ب٠ÙÙØ¹ÙÙÙÙ ÙØ§ÙØ¨Ø±Ø§Ø¡ÙØ©Ù Ù (7) The same previous series of narrators from al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abu Hamza from al-Hasan as-Sariy that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) had said: âWhen I tell someone a tradition and he spreads it as he hears it from me, he will deserve to be cursed and repudiated.â He meant that if that someone would spread the tradition among those who were not reliable or qualified.
Imam as-Sadiqâs saying showed that he wanted some of the traditions to be kept secret and not to be spread.
