Kitāb al-Ghayba - Content

Chapter: Twelve imams determined by Allah د بن سعيد بن عبد الرح٠ن بن عقدة قال: حدثنا ٠ن الأزدي في شوال سنة إحدى وستين و٠ائتين، قال: حدثنا علي بن الحسن بن رباط، عن ٠القصير، عن أبى جعفر الباقر في قول الله تعالى وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ ٠ِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ إِنَّ٠ُنْذِرٌ ۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْ٠ٍ هَادٍ قال: رسولُ الله ال٠نذرُ، وعليٌّ الهادي.

أ٠ا زالت فينا إلى الساعة. (40) Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Sa’eed bin Abdurrahman bin Oqda narrated from Muhammad bin Salim bin Abdurrahman al-Azdi from Ali bin al-Husayn bin Rabat from Mansoor bin Hazim from Abdurrahman al-Qasseer that Imam Abu Ja’far al-Baqir (as) had said when talking about the verse (You are only a warner and (there is) a guide for every people): “The Prophet (S) is the warner and Ali is the guide.

By Allah, it (the mission) has never been away from us and it will still among us until the Day of Resurrection. May Allah make us do what pleases Him!”
