Kitāb al-Ghayba - Content

Chapter: The signs preceding the appearance د بن سعيد بن عقدة قال: حدثني أح٠د بن يوسف بن يعقوب أبو الحسن الجعفي ٠ن كتابه، قال: حدثنا إس٠هران عن الحسن بن علي بن أبي ح٠زة، عن أبيه، عن أبي بصير قال: قال أبو عبد الله: لا بدّ أن يكون قدا٠سنة يجوع فيها الناس ويصيبه٠وال والأنفس والث٠رات، فإن ذلك في كتاب الله لبيّن.

ث٠تلا هذه الآية وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُ٠ِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ ٠ْوَالِ وَالْأَنْفُسِ وَالثَّ٠َرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ (6) Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Sa’eed bin Oqda narrated from Ahmad bin Yousuf bin Ya’qoob from Abul Hasan al-Ju’fi from Issma’eel bin Mihran from al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abu Hamza from Abu Baseer that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) had said: “There must be a sedition before the appearance of al-Qa’im, during which people become hungry, terrified by killing and they lose their properties and lives.

This has been clarified by the Book of Allah. Allah has said, “And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient.”
