Chapter: The signs preceding the appearance 7 - Ø£Ø®Ø¨Ø±ÙØ§ عÙ٠ب٠أØÙ Ø¯Ø Ø¹Ù Ø¹Ø¨ÙØ¯ اÙÙÙ Ø¨Ù Ù ÙØ³Ù Ø§ÙØ¹ÙÙÙØ ع٠عÙ٠ب٠إبراÙÙÙ Ø±Ø Ø¹Ù Ø¬Ø§Ø¨Ø± Ø§ÙØ¬Ø¹ÙÙ ÙØ§Ù: Ø³Ø£ÙØª أبا Ø¬Ø¹ÙØ± ٠د ب٠عÙ٠ع٠ÙÙ٠اÙÙ٠تعاÙÙ ÙÙÙÙÙÙØ¨ÙÙÙÙÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙ٠اÙÙØ®ÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙØ§ÙÙØ¬ÙÙØ¹Ù ÙÙÙÙÙÙØµÙ Ù ÙÙÙØ§ÙÙ ÙÙØ§ÙÙØ£ÙÙÙÙÙØ³Ù ÙÙØ§ÙØ«ÙÙÙ ÙØ±ÙØ§ØªÙ Û ÙÙØ¨ÙØ´ÙÙØ±Ù Ø§ÙØµÙÙØ§Ø¨ÙرÙÙÙÙ ÙÙØ§Ù: ÙØ§ Ø¬Ø§Ø¨Ø±Ø Ø°Ù٠خاص ÙØ¹Ø§Ù Ù Ø§ÙØ¬Ùع ÙØ¨Ø§ÙÙÙÙØ©Ø ÙÙØ®Øµ اÙÙ٠ب٠أعداء Ø¢Ù Ù (7) Ali bin Ahmad narrated from Obaydillah bin Musa al-Alawi from Ali bin Ibraheem bin Hashim from his father from Muhammad bin Hafs from Amr bin Shimr that Jabir al-Juâfi had said: âOnce I asked Abu Jaâfar al-Baqir (as) about the meaning of this saying of Allah, âWe will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hungerâ¦,â and he said: âO Jabir, it has a general meaning and a special meaning.
The special meaning is that hunger will afflict Kufa and especially the opponents of Muhammadâs progeny and will perish them. As for the general meaning, there will be terror and hunger in Sham that have never been faced before. Hunger will be before the rising of al-Qaâim (as) but terror will be after his rising.â
