Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of wearing white shoes َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َدَ عَنِ السَّیَّارِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی سُلَیْ٠َانَ الْخَوَّاصِ عَنْ أَبِی نُعَیْ٠ٍ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ دُکَیْنٍ عَنْ سَدِیرٍ الصَّیْرَفِیِّ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَی أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع وَ عَلَیَّ نَعْلٌ بَیْضَاءُ فَقَالَ یَا سَدِیرُ ٠َا هَذِهِ النَّعْلُ أَخَذْتَهَا عَلَی عِلْ٠ٍ فَقُلْتُ لَا وَ اللَّهِ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاکَ فَقَالَ ٠َنْ دَخَلَ السُّوقَ قَاصِداً لِشِرَاءِ نَعْلٍ بَیْضَاءَ لَ٠ْ یُبْلِهَا حَتَّی یَکْتَسِبَ ٠ِنْ حَیْثُ لا یَحْتَسِبُ قَالَ وَ أَخْبَرَنِی أَبُو نُعَیْ٠ٍ أَنَّ سَدِیراً أَخْبَرَ أَنَّهُ لَ٠ْ یُبْلِ تِلْکَ النَّعْلَ حَتَّی اکْتَسَبَ ٠ِائَهَ دِینَارٍ ٠1.

It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan (rah) who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya al-’Attar who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ahmad from al-Sayyari from Abi Sulayman al-Khawwadh from Abi Na’im al-Fadhl b.

Dukayn from Sadeer al-Sayrafi who said: “One who goes to market with an intention of buying white shoes and buys them; then before those shoes are worn out, that person gets such a wealth, which he would have never expected.” Abu Naeem says that Sudair informed him saying, “My shoes were not worn out yet and I received a hundred dirhams from somewhere I had never expected.”
