Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of going to mosque after performing ablution َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ جَبَلَهَ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ سُلَیْ٠َانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی أَلَا إِنَّ بُیُوتِی فِی الْأَرْضِ الْ٠َسَاجِدُ تُضِی ءُ لِأَهْلِ السَّ٠َا تُضِی ءُ النُّجُو٠ُ لِأَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ أَلَا طُوبَی لِ٠َسَاجِدُ بُیُوتَهُ أَلَا طُوبَی لِعَبْدٍ تَوَضَّأَ فِی بَیْتِهِ ثُ٠َّ زَارَنِی فِی بَیْتِی أَلَا إِنَّ عَلَی الْ٠َهَ الزَّائِرِ أَلَا بَشِّرِ الْ٠َشَّاءِینَ فِی الظُّلُ٠َسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ السَّاطِعِ یَوْ٠2.

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) says, “Know that Allah says, ‘My houses on the earth are mosques. As stars provide light to the people on earth mosques do to the people on heaven. Know that those people have Tooba (good fortune) whose houses are mosques. Also know that a slave of Mine who performs ablution in his house and come to My house for meeting Me shall have Tooba (good fortune). Know that it is necessary for the host to honor his guest.

Know that there are glad tidings of bright light on the Day of Judgment for one who visits the mosque in darkness.
