Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of Hajj and Umrah ُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِیُّ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُ٠َرَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ الْحَاجُّ إِذَا دَخَلَ ٠َکَّهَ وَکَّلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهِ ٠َلَکَیْنِ یَحْفَظَانِ عَلَیْهِ طَوَافَهُ وَ صَلَاتَهُ وَ سَعْیَهُ فَإِذَا وَقَفَ بِعَرَفَهَ ضَرَبَا عَلَی ٠َنْکِبِهِ الْأَیْ٠َضَی فَقَدْ کُفِیتَهُ فَانْظُرْ کَیْفَ تَکُونُ فِی٠6.

The narrator says that he heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) say, “When a Hajj pilgrim enters Mecca, Allah allots two angels for protecting him during circumambulation, Salaat and Saee. When he halts in Arafah, he is patted on his right shoulder and told, ‘Your past sins are forgiven. See how you spend your future life’.”
