Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of observing fast َّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ ٠َاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَ٠َّدُ بْنُ أَبِی الْقَاسِ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع قَالَ: خُلُوفُ فَ٠ِ أَفْضَلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ٠ِنْ رَائِحَهِ الْ٠4.

It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali b. Majluwayh who said it was narrated to me by my uncle Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Fadhalah from Abdillah b. Sinan from al-Sadiq (a.s.) who said: “The smell of the mouth (breath) of a fasting person is dearer to Allah than the fragrance of musk.”
