Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards

Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: One should know that the Salaat of Eid can be offered in congregation only.

One can offer Eid Salaat without congregation also for the following traditions support it: وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْحَلَبِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاهِ الْعِیدَیْنِ هَلْ قَبْلَهُ٠َا صَلَاهٌ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ٠َا قَالَ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُ٠َا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُ٠4.

And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Muhammad b. Sinan from Abdillah b. Sinan al-Halabi from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.), “Is there any Salaat before or after the Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e- Qurban?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “No, neither before nor after.”
