Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: One should know that the Salaat of Eid can be offered in congregation only.

One can offer Eid Salaat without congregation also for the following traditions support it: وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: صَلَاهُ الْعِیدَیْنِ رَکْعَتَانِ لَیْسَ قَبْلَهُ٠َا وَ لَا بَعْدَهُ٠6. Sa’eed from Fadhalah from Ibn Sinan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Salaat of Eid-ul-fitr and Eid- e-Qurban consists of two rakats and there is no Salaat before and after it.”
