Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of the people of Quran أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْ٠َدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِی٠ٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ الْفَارِسِیِ عَنْ سُلَیْ٠َانَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْجَعْفَرِیِّ عَنْ إِسْ٠َاعِیلَ بْنِ أَبِی زِیَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِیُّ ص إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ فِی أَعْلَی دَرَجَهٍ ٠َا خَلَا النَّبِیِّینَ وَ الْ٠ُرْسَلِینَ وَ لَا تَسْتَضْعِفُوا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ وَ حُقُوقَهُ٠1.

Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his father that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “The ranks of the people of Quran come next to that of the prophets and messengers. Don’t ever consider the people of Quran as weak and don’t reduce their rights for they have a high status near Allah.”
