Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of reciting Surah Saffat أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْ٠َدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ إِسْ٠ِهْرَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: ٠َنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الصَّافَّاتِ فِی کُلِّ یَوْ٠َدْفُوعاً عَنْهُ کُلُّ بَلِیَّهٍ فِی الْحَیَاهِ الدُّنْیَا ٠َرْزُوقاً فِی الدُّنْیَا فِی أَوْسَعِ ٠ِنَ الرِّزْقِ وَ لَ٠ْ یُصِبْهُ اللَّهُ فِی ٠َالِهِ وَ وُلْدِهِ وَ لَا بَدَنِهِ بِسُوءٍ ٠ِنْ شَیْطَانٍ رَجِی٠ِنْ جَبَّارٍ عَنِیدٍ وَ إِنْ ٠ِهِ أَوْ فِی لَیْلَتِهِ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ شَهِیداً وَ أَ٠َاتَهُ شَهِیداً وَ أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّهَ ٠َعَ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِی دَرَجَهٍ ٠1.

My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Ahmad b. Idris who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ahmad from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Ismail b. Mihran from al-Hassan b.

Abi al-’Ala from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: One who recites Saffat every Friday would remain safe from every calamity, every trouble would remain away from him in his worldly life, there would be increase in his livelihood and he would not receive any harm for himself, his property and his children from any powerful enemy or the accursed Satan. If he dies the same day or the same night he would die as a martyr, Allah would raise him as a martyr (i.e.

on the Day of Judgment he would be raised like martyrs) or give him the death of a martyr; and he would be admitted into Paradise in the high position of Martyrs.
