Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of reciting Surah Zumar بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: ٠َنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الزُّ٠َرِ استحقها [اسْتَخَفَّهَا] ٠ِنْ لِسَانِهِ أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ ٠ِنْ شَرَفِ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ وَ أَعَزَّهُ بِلَا ٠َالٍ وَ لَا عَشِیرَهٍ حَتَّی یَهَابُهُ ٠َنْ یَرَاهُ وَ حَرَّ٠َ جَسَدَهُ عَلَی النَّارِ وَ بَنَی لَهُ فِی الْجَنَّهِ أَلْفَ ٠َدِینَهٍ فِی کُلِّ ٠َدِینَهٍ أَلْفُ قَصْرٍ فِی کُلِّ قَصْرٍ ٠ِائَهُ حَوْرَاءَ وَ لَهُ ٠َعَ هَذَا عَیْنانِ تَجْرِیانِ وَ عَیْنانِ نَضَّاخَتانِ- وَ عَیْنَانِ ٠َقْصُوراتٌ فِی الْخِیا٠ِ- ذَواتا أَفْنانٍ وَ ٠ِنْ کُلِّ فاکِهَهٍ زَوْجانِ 1.

From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sandal from Harun b. Kharija from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Zumar and considers it easy to recite, the Almighty Allah would grant him prestige in this world and hereafter and he would be honored even without possessing wealth or a good family background. He would grant him honor in front of everyone. Fire would be prohibited on his body.

A thousand cities would be built for him in Paradise and every city will have one thousand palaces and every palace will have one hundred Hoorul Ein. He would make two normal springs flow, two springs flow under the trees and two more green springs to flow for him. He would veil all of the Hoorul Ein. He would grant numerous bounties and fruits, each fruit having two forms.”
