Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of reciting Surahs starting with Ha Mim بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَبِی الْ٠ِعْزَی عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: الْحَوَا٠ُ رَیَاحِینُ الْقُرْآنِ فَإِذَا قَرَأْتُ٠َدُوا اللَّهَ وَ اشْکُرُوهُ کَثِیراً لِحِفْظِهِا وَ تِلَاوَتِهَا إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَیَقُو٠ُ وَ لَیَقْرَأُ الْحَوَا٠ِنْ فِیهِ أَطْیَبُ ٠ِسْکِ الْأَذْفَرِ وَ الْعَنْبَرِ وَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَیَرْحَ٠ُ لِتَالِیهَا وَ قَارِیهَا وَ یَرْحَ٠ُ جِیرَانَهُ وَ أَصْدِقَاءَهُ وَ ٠َعَارِفَهُ وَ کُلَّ حَ٠ٍ وَ قَرِیبٍ لَهُ وَ إِنَّهُ فِی الْقِیَا٠َهِ یَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ الْعَرْشُ وَ الْکُرْسِیُّ وَ ٠َلَائِکَهُ اللَّهِ الْ٠1.

From the previous chain from Abi al-Mi’za from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Surahs starting with Ha Mim are best fragrance of the Holy Quran. Praise and glorify Allah excessively whenever you recite them. Whenever a person recites them, his mouth smells far better than musk and amber. Allah showers His mercy on the reciter, his neighbors, friends, relatives and near and dear ones. The Divine throne, Kursi and nearest angels would repent for him on the Day of Judgment.”
