Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of safeguarding the honor of people and controlling one’s anger أَبِی ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَاصِ٠َالِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُهُ یَقُولُ ٠َنْ کَفَّ نَفْسَهُ عَنْ أَعْرَاضِ النَّاسِ کَفَّ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَذَابَ یَوْ٠َنْ کَفَّ غَضَبَهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ یَوْ٠1.

Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) said, “One who does not dishonors people, the Almighty Allah will not reveal His chastisement on the Day of Judgment and one who does not gets angry with others, the Almighty Allah will ignore his sins on the Day of Judgment.”
