Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of freeing a believing slave أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِی٠َ بْنِ أَبِی الْبِلَادِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص ٠ِناً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِکُلِّ عُضْوٍ ٠ِنَ النَّارِ وَ إِنْ کَانَتْ أُنْثَی أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِکُلِّ عُضْوَیْنِ ٠ِنَ النَّارِ لِأَنَّ الْ٠1.

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “One who frees a believing slave for the sake of Allah, for each part of the body of that slave, the Almighty Allah will keep the parts of his body safe from the fire of Hell. If that slave is a woman for every two parts of the body of that woman, the Almighty Allah will keep a part of his body safe from the fire of Hell. Surely a woman is half that of a man.”
