Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of reciting salutations (Salawaat) on the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and his successors after Prayer on Friday وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَ٠ْرِو بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ ٠ُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَهَ عَنْ عَ٠ُوسَی السَّابَاطِیِّ قَالَ: کُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ اللَّهُ٠َّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِ ٠َّدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَا هَذَا لَقَدْ ضَیَّقْتَ عَلَیْنَا أَ ٠ْتَ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْبَیْتِ خَ٠ْسَهٌ أَصْحَابُ الْکِسَاءِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ کَیْفَ أَقُولُ قَالَ قُلِ اللَّهُ٠َّدٍ فَنَکُونَ نَحْنُ وَ شِیعَتُنَا قَدْ دَخَلْنَا فِیهِ.

Don’t you know that the household are five [which are] the people of the cloak?” He asked, “How should I say?” He (a.s.) replied, “Say: O Allah, send your blessings upon Muhammad and the family (i.e. Al) of Muhammad, and so, we and our Shias are included in it.”
