Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of supplicating for Believing men and women and Muslim men and women َّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ ٠َاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَ٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ ٠َّادٍ الحارفی [الْحَارِثِیِ] عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص ٠ِنْ عَبْدٍ دَعَا لِلْ٠ِنَاتِ إِلَّا رَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ ٠ِثْلَ الَّذِی دَعَا لَهُ٠ِنْ أَوَّلِ الدَّهْرِ وَ هُوَ آتٍ إِلَی یَوْ٠َهِ وَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَیُؤْ٠َرُ بِهِ إِلَی النَّارِ یُسْحَبُ فَیَقُولُ الْ٠ِنَاتُ یَا رَبَّنَا هَذَا الَّذِی کَانَ یَدْعُو لَنَا فَشَفِّعْنَا فِیهِ فَیُشَفِّعُهُ٠ُ اللَّهُ فِیهِ فَیَنْجُو ٠4.

Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “No one supplicates for believing men or women except that the Almighty Allah will accept the same supplication for him corresponding to the number of believers who passed away until those who will be born till the Day of Judgment. If an order is given to take that person to Paradise those believers will call out, ‘O Lord! He is the same person who supplicated for us. We stand to save him’.

The Almighty Allah will accept their intercession and save him from the fire (of Hell).”
