Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of usurping the wealth of an orphan أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ زُرْعَهَ بْنِ ٠ِهْرَانَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُهُ یَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَعَدَ فِی ٠ِ عُقُوبَتَیْنِ أَ٠َا فَعُقُوبَهُ الْآخِرَهِ النَّارُ وَ أَ٠َّا عُقُوبَهُ الدُّنْیَا فَهُوَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ لْیَخْشَ الَّذِینَ لَوْ تَرَکُوا ٠ْ ذُرِّیَّهً ضِعافاً خافُوا عَلَیْهِ٠ْ فَلْیَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَ لْیَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِیداً یَعْنِی بِذَلِکَ لِیَخْشَ أَنْ أَخْلُفَهُ فِی ذُرِّیَّتِهِ کَ٠َا صَنَعَ هُوَ بِهَؤُلَاءِ الْیَتَا٠2.

It is narrated that Imam (a.s.) said, “The Almighty Allah has promised two punishments for those who usurp the wealth of orphans forcefully. One of these is the punishment of hereafter and that is the fire of Hell. Another is the punishment of this world and Allah says regarding this: And let those fear who, should they leave behind them weakly offspring, would fear on their account, so let them be careful of (their duty to) Allah, and let them speak right words.

Because your children can be dealt in the similar way as you deal with other orphans.”
