Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of intention of a sin َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی ٠َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُکَیْرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ الْأَزْدِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ الْ٠ِنَ لَیَنْوِی الذَّنْبَ فَیُحْرَ٠1.

It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ja’far b. Muhammad from Abdillah b. Bukayr b. Muhammad al-Azdi from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Surely whenever a believer intends to commit a sin, he is deprived of his sustenance.”
