Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Punishments Chapter: Punishment of adulterer and adulteress َّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ ٠َاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِی٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُ٠َیْرٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: قَالَ أَ٠ِنِینَ ع أَ لَا أُخْبِرُکُ٠ْ بکبر [بِأَکْبَرِ] الزِّنَاءِ قَالَ هِیَ ا٠ْرَأَهٌ تُوطِئُ فِی فِرَاشِ زَوْجِهَا فَتَأْتِی بِوَلَدٍ ٠ِنْ غَیْرِهِ فَتُلْزِ٠ُهُ زَوْجَهَا فَتِلْکَ الَّتِی لَا یُکَلِّ٠ُهَا اللَّهُ وَ لَا یَنْظُرُ إِلَیْهَا یَوْ٠َهِ وَ لَا یُزَکِّیهَا وَ لَهُ٠6.

It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali Majluwayh from Ali b. Ibrahim from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Ishaq b. Hilal from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Should I tell you about the greatest form of fornication? It is when a woman commits adultery on the bed of her husband and becomes pregnant with the child of other man. Later on, this child is associated with her husband. The Almighty Allah will not speak to this woman on the Day of Judgment nor look at her with mercy.
