Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Reward for the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.), the Commander of the Believers (a.s.), and Imams Ĥasan and Ĥusain (a.s.) 3 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رح٠َّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ إِدْرِيسَ عَ٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) يَا عَلِيُّ ٠َنْ زَارَنِي فِي حَيَاتِي أَوْ بَعْدَ ٠َوْتِي أَوْ زَارَكَ فِي حَيَاتِكَ أَوْ بَعْدَ ٠َوْتِكَ أَوْ زَارَ ابْنَيْكَ فِي حَيَاتِهِ٠َةِ أَنْ أُخَلِّصَهُ ٠ِنْ أَهْوَالِهَا وَ شَدَائِدِهَا حَتَّى أُصَيِّرَهُ ٠َعِي فِي دَرَجَتِي 3.

My father and Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb both narrated to me from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, from someone whose name he mentioned, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, who narrated that: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said (to ‘Ali (a.s.)): O ‘Ali!

I guarantee those who come to my Ziyārah during my life or after my death, or come to your Ziyārah during your life or after your death, or go to the Ziyārah of your two sons during their lives or after their death, that I will save them from the terrors and difficulties of the Day of Judgment and that I will take them with me to my position.
