Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Reward for the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) 17 حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْفَضْلِ ٠َّدٍ الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ٠ُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) ٠َنْ زَارَ قَبْرِي بَعْدَ ٠َنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيَّ فِي حَيَاتِي فَإِنْ لَ٠ْ تَسْتَطِيعُوا فَابْعَثُوا إِلَيَّ السَّلَا٠َ فَإِنَّهُ يَبْلُغُنِي 17.

Abul Faďl Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Sulaymān narrated to me from Mūsā ibn Muḥammad ibn Mūsā, from Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Al-Ash’ath, from Abil Ḥasan Mūsā ibn Ismā’īl ibn Mūsā ibn Ja’far, from his father, from his grandfather (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)), from his father Ja’far ibn Muḥammad (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), from his father (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)), from ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Sajjād (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who come to the Ziyārah of my grave after my death are like those who had immigrated to (live near) me during my life.

However, if you cannot come to my Ziyārah, then send your Salām to me, for verily it will reach me.
