Muḥammad ibn âAbdillÄh ibn Jaâfar Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from his father, from someone who narrated to him, from âAbdil RaḥmÄn ibn AbÄ« HÄshim, from DÄwÅ«d ibn Farqad, from AbÄ« Ḥamzah (Al-ThumÄli), who said: AbÅ« Jaâfar (Imam BÄqir (a.s.)) said: Praying an obligatory prayer in the Mosque of KÅ«fah is equal to performing an accepted Hajj, and praying a recommended prayer in it is equal to performing an accepted âUmrah.
