Ḥasan ibn âAbdillÄh ibn Muḥammad narrated to me from his father, from Ḥasan ibn MaḥbÅ«b, from âAbdillÄh ibn Jabalah, from SalÄm ibn AbÄ« âAmrah, from Saâd ibn ŤarÄ«f, from Asbagh ibn NubÄtah, who said: âAli (the Commander of the Believers (a.s.)) said: Praying a recommended prayer in this mosque (Mosque of KÅ«fah) is equal to performing an âUmrah with the Prophet (s.a.a.w.), and praying an obligatory prayer in it is equal to performing a Hajj with the Prophet (s.a.a.w.).
Indeed one thousand prophets and one thousand successors have prayed in this mosque.
