Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Merits of the Euphrates River, Drinking from Its Water, and Performing Ghusl in It 2 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِي جَ٠ِيلَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْ٠َانَ بْنِ هَارُونَ أَنَّهُ سَ٠ِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) يَقُولُ ٠َاءِ الْفُرَاتِ وَ حُنِّكَ بِهِ فَهُوَ ٠ُحِبُّنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ 2.

My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, (from Ibn Faďďāl), from Abī Jamīlah (Mufaďďal ibn Sāliḥ Al-Usdi), from Sulaymān ibn Hārūn, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: If the water of the Euphrates River is used to open the mouth of a (newborn baby) and is his first drink, he will be among those who love us, the Ahlul Bayt.
