Chapter: The Merits of the Euphrates River, Drinking from Its Water, and Performing Ghusl in It 6 وَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (رح٠ه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ٠َرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ (ع) قَالَ الْفُرَاتُ سَيِّدُ الْ٠ِيَاهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ 6.

‘Ali ibn Ḥusain narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ḥasan (ibn ‘Ali ibn Faďďāl), from ‘Isā ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Umar, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: ‘Ali, (the Commander of the Believers (a.s.)), said: The Euphrates (River) is the master of the waters in this life and in the Hereafter.
