Chapter: The Prophet’s Love for Imams Ĥasan and Ĥusain (a.s.), His Command to Love Them, and the Reward for Loving Them 6 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْ٠َّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْ٠َانَ الْبَزَّازِ عَنْ عَ٠ْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) ٠َنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَ٠َسَّكَ بِعُرْوَةِ اللَّهِ الْوُثْقَى الَّتِي قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فِي كِتَابِهِ فَلْيُوَالِ [فَلْيَتَوَلَّ] عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَ الْحَسَنَ وَ الْحُسَيْنَ (ع) فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّهُ٠ِنْ فَوْقِ عَرْشِهِ 6.

My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from his father Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Mughīrah, from Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān Al-Bazzāz, from ‘Amr ibn Shimr, from Jābir, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said, “Those who want to hold onto the ‘firmest handhold’ (2:256) of Allāh, which He has mentioned in His Book, should love ‘Ali ibn Abī Ťālib, Ḥasan, and Ḥusain (a.s.), for verily Allāh loves them on top of His Throne.”
