Chapter: Jabra`Çl Shows the Land on Which Ĥusain (a.s.) Will Be Killed to the Messenger of AllÄh (s.a.a.w.) 3 ØÙدÙÙØ«ÙÙÙ٠أÙبÙÙ (رØ٠٠اÙÙÙ) تÙعÙاÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠سÙعÙد٠عÙÙ٠عÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙ٠إÙسÙÙ ÙاعÙÙÙ٠بÙÙ٠عÙÙسÙÙ ÙÙ Ù ÙÙد٠بÙÙ٠اÙÙØÙسÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙ٠أÙبÙ٠اÙÙØ®ÙØ·ÙÙاب٠Ù٠إÙبÙرÙاÙÙÙÙ ÙاÙ٠بÙÙ٠عÙÙسÙ٠عÙÙ٠سÙÙ ÙÙÙرÙاÙ٠عÙÙ٠أÙبÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) Ù ÙØ«ÙÙÙÙÙ Ù٠زÙاد٠ÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙ٠٠تÙزÙÙ٠عÙÙÙد٠أÙÙ 3.
My father narrated to me from Saâd (ibn âAbdillÄh), from âAli ibn IsmÄâÄ«l ibn âIsÄ, Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil KhaťťÄb, and IbrÄhÄ«m ibn HÄshim, from âUthmÄn ibn âIsÄ, from SamÄâah ibn MihrÄn, who said: AbÅ« âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)) said: Jabra`Ä«l announced the news of the killing of Ḥusain (a.s.) to the Messenger of AllÄh (s.a.a.w.) in the house of Um Salamah. While Jabra`Ä«l was with the Messenger of AllÄh (s.a.a.w.), Ḥusain (a.s.) entered.
Jabra`Ä«l said to the Prophet (s.a.a.w.), âVerily your nation will kill him.â The Messenger of AllÄh (s.a.a.w.) said, âShow me the dust on which his blood will be shed.â Therefore, Jabra`Ä«l took a handful of that dust and it was a red-coloured dust. Um Salamah kept that dust until she died.
