Chapter: The Verses in Qur’an about the Martyrdom of Ĥusain (a.s.) and the Avenging of His Blood َّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْكُوفِيُّ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ ٠ُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِيِّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى- وَ قَضَيْنا إِلى بَنِي إِسْرائِيلَ فِي الْكِتابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ ٠َرَّتَيْنِ قَالَ قَتْلُ عَلِيٍّ وَ طَعْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَ لَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيراً قَالَ قَتْلُ الْحُسَيْنِ ع 7.

Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Kūfi Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Mūsā ibn Sa’dān, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Qāsim Al-Ḥaďrami, from Sāliḥ ibn Sahl, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: “We announced to the children of Israel in the book: ‘You will certainly make mischief in the land twice” (17:4).

The first “mischief” refers to killing ‘Ali (the Commander of the Believers (a.s.)) and the second “mischief” refers to stabbing Ḥasan (a.s.). “And you will certainly become exceedingly arrogant” (17:4) refers to killing Ḥusain (a.s.).
