Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Messenger of Allāh, ‘Ali, Fāťimah, and the Imams (a.s.) Pray for Those Who Go to the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) 1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رح٠َّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ ٠َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ رَحِ٠ِيعاً عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِ٠َرَ عَنْ حَسَّانَ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ لِي يَا ٠ُعَاوِيَةُ لَا تَدَعْ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) لِخَوْفٍ فَإِنَّ ٠َنْ تَرَكَ زِيَارَتَهُ رَأَى ٠ِنَ الْحَسْرَةِ ٠َنَّى أَنَّ قَبْرَهُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ أَ ٠َا تُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرَى اللَّهُ شَخْصَكَ وَ سَوَادَكَ فِي٠َنْ يَدْعُو لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) وَ عَلِيٌّ وَ فَاطِ٠1.

My father, Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh, ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain, and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan all narrated to me from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from Mūsā ibn ‘Umar, from Ghassān Al-Basri, from Mu’āwiyah ibn Wahab, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said to me: O Mu’āwiyah! Do not neglect going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) because of fear.

Verily he who abandons the Ziyārah of Ḥusain (a.s.) (for any reason) will regret it so much that he will wish that his grave was next to him. Do you not like Allāh to see you among those for whom the Messenger of Allāh, ‘Ali, Fāťimah, and the Imams (a.s.) pray?!
