Chapter: The Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.): The Best of Deeds 1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رح٠َاعَةُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ عَائِذٍ عَنْ أَبِي خَدِيجَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ إِنَّهُ أَفْضَلُ ٠1.

My father and a group of our companions narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali Al-Washā, from Aḥmad ibn ‘Ā`idh, from Abī Khadījah (Sālim ibn Mukram Al-Jammāl), who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) about the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.). He (the Imam (a.s.)) replied, “Verily it is the best of deeds.”
