Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) Prolongs Life and Increases Sustenance Neglecting It Shortens Life and Decreases Sustenance 1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رح٠َشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ ٠َّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَطَّارِ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ ٠َاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ ٠ُرُوا شِيعَتَنَا بِزِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) فَإِنَّ إِتْيَانَهُ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ وَ يَ٠َدَافِعَ السَّوْءِ وَ إِتْيَانَهُ ٠ُفْتَرَضٌ عَلَى كُلِّ ٠ِنٍ يُقِرُّ لِلْحُسَيْنِ بِالْإِ٠1.

My father and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, and from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā Al-‘Aťťār, and from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl ibn Bazī’, from Abī Ayyūb (Al-Khazzāz), from Muḥammad ibn Muslim, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Order our Shia to go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.).

Verily going to his Ziyārah increases sustenance, prolongs life, and keeps afflictions away. Verily going to his Ziyārah is obligatory on every believer who believes that Ḥusain (a.s.) is an Imam appointed by Allāh, the Great and Almighty.
