Chapter: The Reward for the ZiyÄrah of Ĥusain (a.s.) Is Equal to the Reward for Performing a Hajj and an âUmrah 7 ØÙدÙÙØ«ÙÙÙ٠أÙبÙÙ (رØ٠٠اÙÙÙ) عÙÙ٠سÙعÙد٠بÙÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠أÙØÙÙ ÙÙد٠بÙÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙØÙÙ ÙÙد٠عÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙÙس٠بÙÙÙ ÙÙعÙÙÙÙب٠عÙÙ٠أÙÙ Ù٠سÙعÙÙد٠اÙÙØ£ÙØÙÙ ÙسÙÙÙÙØ©Ù ÙÙاÙÙت٠ÙÙÙÙت٠ÙÙØ£ÙبÙ٠عÙبÙد٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) Ø£ÙÙÙÙ Ø´ÙÙÙء٠تÙØ°ÙÙÙر٠ÙÙ٠زÙÙÙارÙØ©Ù ÙÙبÙر٠اÙÙØÙسÙÙÙÙÙ (ع) Ù ÙÙ٠اÙÙÙÙضÙÙÙ ÙÙاÙÙ ÙÙØ°ÙÙÙر٠ÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙا Ø£ÙÙ Ù٠سÙعÙÙد٠ÙÙضÙÙÙ ØÙجÙÙØ©Ù Ù٠عÙÙ ÙرÙØ©Ù ÙÙ Ø®ÙÙÙرÙÙÙا ÙÙØ°Ùا Ù٠بÙسÙØ·Ù ÙÙدÙÙÙÙÙ [ÙÙدÙÙÙ] ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙس٠أÙصÙابÙعÙÙÙ 7.
My father narrated to me from Saâd ibn âAbdillÄh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, and from Muḥammad ibn âAbdil ḤamÄ«d, from YÅ«nus ibn YaâqÅ«b, from Um SaâÄ«d Al-Aḥmasiyyah, who said: I asked AbÄ âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)), âWhat do you say is the reward for the ZiyÄrah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.)?â Imam (a.s.) replied, âO Um SaâÄ«d!
We say that it is equal to the reward of a Hajj and an âUmrah, and there is this much reward in it.â Um SaâÄ«d added that the Imam (a.s.) stretched open his arms with his fingers bent.
