Abul âAbbÄs Al-RazzÄz narrated to me from Ibn Abil KhaťťÄb, from Muḥammad ibn FuÄayl, from Muḥammad ibn MuÄÄrib, from MÄlik Al-Juhani, who said: AbÅ« Jaâfar (Imam BÄqir (a.s.)) said: O MÄlik! When AllÄh, the Blessed and the Exalted, took the life of Ḥusain (a.s.), He sent four thousand angels, who are disheveled and covered with dust, to him who cry over him (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment.
AllÄh will forgive (all of) the past and future sins of those who go to his ZiyÄrah knowing his rights and He will (also) register a Hajj for them. They will be kept protected until they return to their families. Muḥammad ibn MuÄÄrib added: After AbÅ« Jaâfar (Imam BÄqir (a.s.)) passed away and MÄlik (the narrator) died, I went to AbÄ« âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)) and narrated this ḤadÄ«th to him.
When I mentioned the Hajj (which will be registered for those who go to the ZiyÄrah of Ḥusain (a.s.)), Imam (a.s.) said, âAnd an âUmrah, O Muḥamma!â
