Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: Those Who Neglect the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) 3 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَ٠ِيرَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ ٠ْ يَأْتِ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) وَ هُوَ يَزْعُ٠ُ أَنَّهُ لَنَا شِيعَةٌ حَتَّى يَ٠ُوتَ فَلَيْسَ هُوَ لَنَا بِشِيعَةٍ وَ إِنْ كَانَ ٠ِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَهُوَ ٠ِنْ ضِيفَانِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ 3.

My father and ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from his father, from Sayf ibn ‘Amīrah, from someone who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Those who think they are among our Shia but do not go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) before their death, are not from among our Shia. And even if they are among those who enter Paradise, they will be (treated) as visitors in Paradise.
