Chapter: The ZiyÄrah of Ĥusain ibn âAli (a.s.) and How It Should Be Performed 18. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-SaffÄr, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Muḥammad ibn IsmÄâÄ«l, from AbÄn ibn âUthmÄn, from AbÄ« HammÄm, who said: AbÅ« âAbdillÄh (Imam SÄdiq (a.s.)) said: When you go to the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.), recite (the following): SalÄm to you, O AbÄ âAbdillÄh. May AllÄhâs curse be upon those who killed you.
May AllÄhâs curse be upon those who participated in the spilling of your blood and upon those who heard about your killing and were pleased with it. I seek nearness to AllÄh by dissociating myself from them.
