Kāmil al-Ziyārāt - Content

Chapter: The Merits of Karbalā and the Ziyārah of Ĥusain (a.s.) 9 وَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ ٠َّارِ عَنِ الْبَاقِرِ (ع) قَالَ ٠َنْ بَاتَ لَيْلَةَ عَرَفَةَ فِي كَرْبَلَاءَ وَ أَقَا٠َ بِهَا حَتَّى يُعَيِّدَ وَ يَنْصَرِفَ وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ سَنَةٍ 9.

My father narrated to me through his Isnād from ‘Ali ibn Ḥarb, from Faďl ibn Yaḥyā, from his father, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Go to the Ziyārah of Karbalā and do not abandon it, for verily the best of the sons of the prophets is buried in it. Verily the angels went to the Ziyārah of Karbalā one thousand years before my grandfather, Ḥusain (a.s.), dwelled in it and not one night passes in which Jibrā`īl and Mīkā`īl do not go to his Ziyārah.

O Yaḥyā! Strive hard to go to that land.
