If a person says salām to a group of people and someone from among them who is performing prayers doubts whether the person who said salām intended to address him as well, he must not. Based on obligatory precaution, the same applies if he knows that he intended to address him as well but another person replied. However, if he knows that he intended to address him as well but another person does not, or he doubts whether another person replied, he must to him.
