ভূমিকা
75:1 لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ
●I swear by the Day of Resurrection
75:2 وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ
— And I swear by the reproaching soul 1 [to the certainty of resurrection]. 75:3 أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ
— Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 75:4 بَلَىٰ قَـٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ
— Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips. 75:5 بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ
●But man desires to continue in sin. 1
75:6 يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ
●He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
75:9 وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ
●And the sun and the moon are joined,
75:10 يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ
●Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
75:12 إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ
— To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 75:13 يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
●Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead 1 and kept back. 2
75:14 بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌ
●Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness, 1
75:15 وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ
— Even if he presents his excuses. 75:16 لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ
— Move not your tongue with it, [O Muḥammad], to hasten with it [i.e., recitation of the Qur’ān]. 75:17 إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ
— Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 75:18 فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَـٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ
— So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation. 75:19 ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ
— Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 75:20 كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ
●No! But you [i.e., mankind] love the immediate
75:21 وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ
— And leave [i.e., neglect] the Hereafter. 75:22 وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ
●[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
75:23 إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
75:24 وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌ
●And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,
75:25 تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ
— Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking. 75:26 كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ
●No!
