[42] Four Types of Treatment: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُعَتِّبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ الدَّوَاءُ أَرْبَعَةٌ السَّعُوطُ وَ الْحِجَامَةُ وَ النُّورَةُ وَ الْحُقْنَةُ Mohammed ibn Yahiya, from Ahmed ibn Mohammed ibn Isa, who from Al-Hassan ibn Ali who from his father Salama who from Motab has narrated the following from Abu Abd Allah -asws : ‘There are four types of medicine/treatment.
These are cupping, inhaling snuff, inserting a suppository, and making an injection’. [43] The Use of A Deceased’ s Tooth: وَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ سَأَلَهُ أَبِي وَ أَنَا حَاضِرٌ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَسْقُطُ سِنُّهُ فَأَخَذَ فَيَأْخُذُ سِنَّ إِنْسَانٍ مَيِّتٍ فَيَجْعَلُهُ مَكَانَهُ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ Zrara narrates from Imam Abu Abdullah -asws that once my father asked from Imam -asws : ‘Is it in order?
If a man who has lost his tooth, has managed to find a tooth of a dead person and then got it fixed at the place of his lost tooth. Imam -asws replied: There is no problem with it.
