Sadness erases our sins but prolonged distress is detrimental and for that we are taught supplications to overcome it. The grief and sadness due to the injustices committed against the Ahl Al-Bayt -asws is a cure of distress (fulfilling) and is part of the worship. Below are some Ahadith to highlight the preceding points.
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abaas Bin Musa Al Warraq, from Ali Al Ahmasy, from a man, from; Abu Ja’far -asws narrates that Rasool-Allah -saww said: ‘The worries and the grief do not cease to be with the believer ( Momin) until no sin is left for him’.
