Imam -asws replied, he should immediately come out, perform Ablution and if he had performed more than half of Tawaaf (4 or more) then just carry on and complete the remaining ones if not then start all over again [147] . I asked if someone is performing Tawaaf and gets tired, is it permissible to take some rest. Imam -asws replied, yes, he may take some rest and then start again from where he has left his Tawaaf, regardless of obligatory or non-obligatory Tawaaf.

What-If Salat time Occurs during Tawaaf: I asked from Imam Abu Abdullah -asws while a person was carrying out ‘Tawaaf-e-fariza’ (compulsory), ‘Aqamah’ was being recited for congregational prayers, Imam -asws replied he should offer his prayers with them and then continue with Tawaaf from where he had left it. When one forgets the number of Tawaaf: I told Imam -asws that a person completed Tawaaf and then got confused if he had performed 6 or 7 circles in his Tawaaf., Imam -asws said, he should perform Tawaaf again, I said if he had completed it (assuming correct), Imam -asws said, then there is nothing on him but I would prefer to repeat Tawaaf under these conditions [150] .

I asked if someone, while performing Tawaaf, cannot remember if he has completed 6 or 7 circumambulations, Imam -asws replied he should consider that number 6 and perform another one (7 th ). I said if he had gone after completing, Imam -asws replied then there is nothing on him [151] .

I asked someone has completed 6 rounds in a Tawaaf, Imam -asws replied, he should perform another one (round), I said, he has gone home afterwards, Imam -asws replied he should ask someone to perform one on his behalf [152] . I asked about a person who got mixed up regarding his 3 rd or 4 th round during Tawaaf, Imam -asws asked was he performing obligatory or non-obligatory Tawaaf?

Imam -asws then said, if he was carrying out obligatory Tawaaf then he should abandon the existing one and repeat his Tawaaf from scratch but if he was doing a non-obligatory Tawaaf then he should consider the last one as number 3 and go ahead to finish his Tawaaf [153] . I asked, ‘Is it in order if my companion keep counting the number of circles around Kabah?’ Imam -asws replied, yes [154] . Imam -asws advised to abandon Tawaf if you are unable to continue due to over crowdedness [155] .
