Imam -asws replied: Take a bath after the sunset, then recite Magrib prayers, and raise both your hands and pray to Allah -azwj : The One Who rewards more than one deserves, the most Powerful and the most Kind, please forgive my sins, which I have forgotten but these are written in Your register, then go into prostration and recite 100 times ‘أتوب إلى الله ‘ and then make your wish.
It is also narrated Amir-ul-Momaneen -asws used to offer two-part salat after Magrib salat in Shab-e-Qadr and in the first ‘Rakat’ would recite 1000 time ‘Qulhowal ho Ahad’ after ‘Alhamnd’ but only once ‘Qulhowal ho Ahad’ after ‘Alhamnd’ in the second ‘Rakat’.
And it has been narrated from Jafar ibn Bashir, who heard it from Abd Allah ibn Sinan, who says: Abu Abd Allah -asws said: The one who cannot join people in the Eid ‘Jamat’ (congregational) prayers, he, may take a bath wear fragrance and offer Salat in the house as he would in the Jamat.
And Imam Mohammed Baqir -asws said: On every Eid, either its Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Azha, it bring grief to Aly Mohammed, I (the narrator) said, I asked why is that? The Imam -asws said: Because they -asws see their -asws rights have been taken away by the others (their -asws enemies).
