It is also important to note that the month of Muharram is one of the four ‘blessed’ (sacred) Islamic months, but after the killings of Ahl Al-Bayt -asws at Karbala, it is observed with grief in which visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain -asws has the rewards of one thousand of those accepted Ummra and Hajj, performed with in the company of Rasool Allah -saww .
The same reward is for the visiting of Imam -asws ’s holy Shrine on the Eid day, which would never be without immense grief, of course. Similarly, if the ‘martyrdom’ of a Masoom -asws falls on a Friday or the day of Ashura happens to be on Friday, then that Friday, which surely is also an Eid, becomes a day of mourning.
