Then he -asws said...
Then he -asws said: ‘Allah -azwj , by His -azwj Justice and His -azwj Fairness Made the spirit and the rest to be in the conviction and the pleasure, and Made the worries and the grief to be in the doubt and the anger’. [24] Additional Ahadith: وَ عَنْهُ ع قَالَ: كُلَّمَا ازْدَادَ الْعَبْدُ إِيمَاناً ازْدَادَ ضِيقاً فِي مَعِيشَتِهِ. And from him -asws having said: ‘Every time the servant increases the Eman, there will be a narrowness in his livelihood’’.
[25] وَ عَنِ الْكَاظِمِ ع قَالَ: لَنْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ حَتَّى تَعُدُّوا الْبَلَاءَ نِعْمَةً وَ الرَّخَاءَ مُصِيبَةً وَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّ الصَّبْرَ عِنْدَ الْبَلَاءِ أَعْظَمُ مِنَ الْغَفْلَةِ عِنْدَ الرَّخَاءِ. And from Al-Kazim -asws having said: ‘You will never become Momineen until you count the affliction as a bounty, and the prosperity as a calamity, and that is because the patience during the affliction is mightier than the heedlessness during the prosperity’’.
[26] وَ قَالَ ع مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا وَ هُوَ يُذَكَّرُ فِي كُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً بِبَلَاءٍ إِمَّا فِي مَالِهِ أَوْ فِي وَلَدِهِ أَوْ فِي نَفْسِهِ فَيُؤْجَرُ عَلَيْهِ أَوْ هَمٍّ لَا يَدْرِي مِنْ أَيْنَ هُوَ.
And he -asws said: ‘There is none from a Momin except and he would be reminded with an afflicting during every forty days, either regarding his wealth, or regarding his children, or regarding himself, so he would be Recompensed upon it, or a worry he does not even know where it is from’’.
[27] الكافي عَنِ الْعِدَّةِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ: تَقَبَّضْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ رُبَّمَا حَزِنْتُ مِنْ غَيْرِ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُنِي أَوْ أَمْرٍ يَنْزِلُ بِي حَتَّى يَعْرِفُ ذَلِكَ أَهْلِي فِي وَجْهِي وَ صَدِيقِي (The book) ‘Al Kafi’ – from the number, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Fazalat, from Umar Bin Aban, from Jabir Al Jufy who said, ‘I was aggrieved in front of Rasool-Allah -saww .
I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you -asws ! Sometimes I get aggrieved from without any difficulty having afflicted me, or any matter having befallen with me until my family and my friends recognises that in my face’.
