\n Imam -asws replied:\u00a0 The Messenger of Allah -saww has said: \n One Salat in my mosque is equal to one thousand prayers elsewhere, and one Salat in MASJID AL-HARAM is equal to one thousand prayers in my mosque.

\n Then Imam -asws continued: \n Allah -azwj has given preference to Makah over other cities, and He -azwj has Given preference to (specific) areas (of Makah) over other areas in it by Saying: \u2018Take for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place of Ibrahim\u2019 (2:125). \n Allah -azwj has also given preference to some people over others, and in His Book He has ordered people to follow them and to love them -asws .
